CARRIE: [Mimicking ADDY VENTURER in a mocking way] I’m hunting for the legendary treasure of Agadoo.
ADDY VENTURER: Er… excuse me? Don’t copy what I say! CARRIE: Don’t copy what I say!
ADDY VENTURER: How rude! What even are you? CARRIE: What even are you!?
ENGLEBERT: Excuse her. That’s Carrie. Carrie Cature. She’s a mockingbird. And my name is Englebert. Englebert Hopperdinck. [To audience] I know. It’s not our finest joke but there’s worse to come, believe me.
ADDY VENTURER: Dare I ask what the lion’s called?
[Rory is asleep standing up]
ENGLEBERT: Oi! Wake up! You’re being spoken to!!!
RORY: [Waking up startled] Oh my! Did I fall asleep again? Sorry. In the jungle I do like to sleep. There’s a song about it and everything!
ENGLEBERT: She asked what your name is. CARRIE: Don’t tell her Rory!
RORY: Oh, hi! Yes, my name is Rory.
ADDY VENTURER: It’s a pleasure to meet you. Six talking animals… it’s truly remarkable! There can be nothing more fascinating than a talking animal, that’s for sure!
